Why do I need a Guarantee when I already have insurance?
Our Guarantees fill the gaps that insurance policies leave behind. For example, whilst you are legally obliged to insure your Motorhome, that insurance policy won't cover you for when your shower leaks. Also, you are legally obliged to inform your car insurance company that you will be towing a Caravan, but that insurance policy won't provide cover when your fridge stops working.

We therefore have a unique understanding of this sector and a network of contacts across the country that we can call upon to resolve problems for our policyholders.
How do I make a claim?
It is easy. Simply follow these steps:
- Call our claims line number 0844 576 2255 to speak to our claims manager.
- When calling, make sure you have your 'Gateway Dealer Guarantee' reference
number and Motorhome registration number to hand.
- We will identify the nearest nominated repairer for you to take your Caravan/Motorhome. We will even contribute £50 towards the cost of
recovering the Caravan or Motorhome to the nominated repairer should it not
be possible for you to get it there.
- Having assessed the problem, the repairer will contact us for a claim
authorisation number to enable them to proceed with the repairs. |
